Lobster Opener 2006

Another great lobster opener with Matt & Bryant. Three divers, and a 2 day permit yielded 42 bugs! The largest ran just over 7 pounds, and several were in the 5-6 pound range. Overall, I'd estimate 150 pounds of lobster.

Big Lingcod

This 17 pound lingcod was blocking the entrance to a sizable lobster cave holding 10 bugs that ranged from 2 - 8 pounds. We had to shoot him (carefully) just to get him out of the way. The blue meat lingcod are delicious!
